Here is the NOAA storm surge data for Port Fourchon. Looks like the surge went to 5.29 feet at 2:42 Friday morning. Then they stopped getting readings until about 11:00 Friday morning when the water started going down. The latest reading is 1.79 feet at 10:30 Saturday night. These heights are feet above mean low water level.

Not sure about the storm surge in that area - there is a NOAA map of storm surges but I can't find it now. As I recall they were reporting 12 to 15 foot swells off-shore in that area Thursday afternoon.
