I need to call it a night, but before I do, I wanted to plant one more thought that needs to be tackled Sunday: a kick-ass google map. We should build a map - or work with google to do so - that plots out as much data as possible re: evac centers, storm route, damage, flood reports, etc. If Google or someone else is doing it already, great; let's embed it. If not, we need to find some Google Map gurus to figure out how to get started. I'll reach out to Google first thing in the morning, too, unless anyone has a direct connection to the Google Maps team. -ac

I see you put a URL into your comment, but you didn't put any text in it, so it didn't show up.
see: some text to the map you posted

But I'm still not clear; is this the map Ed made?
And what's the link to "Wiki Interactive"?

p.s. here are the weather maps I Tweeted earlier: http://tinyurl.com/6e8h9x | http://tinyurl.com/64knub | http://tinyurl.com/63rwph | http://tinyurl.com/6c7ung

No contact info on the site. He is in Ann Arbor, MI. I left a comment on his map for him to contact this site.

Note the link in my previous message didn't work. Maybe this one does: "http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&t=h&msa=0&msid=113932165856461159137.000455b0c5e9d22715c6b&z=6"

The link in my first post was incorrect. Try this one for Edward's map
"http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&t=h&msa=0&msid=113932165856461159137.000455b0c5e9d22715c6b&z=6" (I'm still struggling with this link to work right for some reason)

p.s. if dangling text isn't deleted then this page will very quickly become huge as people quote things 2, 3, 4 times. It takes 2 moments to delete text.
